March’s mindfulness session is all about making marks on a page. We will explore two meditations where we will put pen to paper to help us focus our attention while bringing about an enhanced sense of self-awareness. This balancing between a singular focus and a widening awareness unlocks our ability to be free from the thinking mind, even if for just brief moments. In these tiny moments of stillness, we can learn how to draw on our own creative depths to guide us home to our authentic selves. Artistic confidence is NOT necessary to participate in these meditations.
The Exploring Mindfulness community meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Everyone is welcome to join these free classes whether you are new to mindfulness or have an established practice.
We meet for about 30 minutes via Zoom to experiment with different techniques to discover what works for each of us to uncover the innate stillness that is always deep within, just very often obscured by thoughts, feelings, and emotions. We look forward to seeing you there.
